Intersurgical - InterFlow™ adult range

The InterFlow™ blender is extremely adaptable and packed full of features designed to make CPAP and High Flow Oxygen Therapy safer for the patient and easier for the clinician.

The InterFlow™ is a gas blender designed to deliver a continuous flow of blended oxygen and medical air. In contrast to mechanical blenders, InterFlow™ is electronic and is operated via the touch screen. The blending of medical air and oxygen is controlled by valve motors, these motors allow for the precise blending and delivery of gases to the patient.

InterFlow™ includes integrated oxygen flow and pressure sensors, a back-up battery and optional Masimo SET® SpO2 monitoring.

2. User interface: The intuitive user interface and display is navigated via an inbuilt 4.2” colour touchscreen.

3. Adaptive alarms: Adaptive, intelligent alarms monitor the output flow and patient pressure for unexpected variances.

4. Mode configuration: Configurable therapy modes tailored to patient needs, ensuring precise control and enhanced respiratory support.

5. SpO₂ monitoring: An optional Masimo SET® SpO₂ sensor* can be connected to the device to continuously monitor the patient’s blood oxygen saturation and pulse.

6. Integrated sensors: The internal thermal mass flow sensor and paramagnetic oxygen sensor ensure a precise therapy delivery and minimise O₂ waste.

7. Philips® IntelliBridge™ compatible: Monitor centrally via Philips Patient Monitoring Systems.

Therapy modes

The InterFlow™ blender is equiped with 5 adult therapy modes. Each mode includes tailored parameter settings and alarms designed for specific patient sizes and therapy types.

Adult CPAP mode

Flow control mode intended to deliver CPAP therapy to adult patients via a Facemask. Proximal pressure monitoring is supported.

Adult Hood mode

Flow control mode intended to deliver CPAP therapy to adult patients via the StarMed CaStar range of CPAP hoods.

Adult HFOT mode

Flow control mode intended to deliver HFOT (High Flow Oxygen Therapy) to adult patients via the i-flo™ high flow nasal cannula.

Adult i-flo™ A mode

Flow control mode specific to anaesthesia applications requiring delivery of nasal high flow to adult patients via a High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).

Manual Flow mode

Adjustable flow mode intended to allow the user maximum control of supplied flows.

Monitoring display

The therapy parameters can be viewed numerically or graphically via the customisable real-time waveform display.
