For use with paediatric and neonatal patients, the InterFlow™ blender is extremely adaptable and packed full of features designed to make CPAP and High Flow Oxygen Therapy safer for the patient and easier for the clinician.
The InterFlow™ is a gas blender designed to deliver a continuous flow of blended oxygen and medical air. In contrast to mechanical blenders, InterFlow™ is electronic and is operated via the touch screen. The blending of medical air and oxygen is controlled by valve motors, these motors allow for the precise blending and delivery of gases to the patient.
InterFlow™ includes integrated oxygen flow and pressure sensors, a back-up battery and optional Masimo SET® SpO2 monitoring.

nFlow™ infant nasal CPAP breathing systems
The InterFlow™ gas blender with nFlow™ system offers a complete care solution for infant CPAP with established ‘gas flip’ technology, providing a low ‘work of breathing’ option as an alternative to ventilator CPAP.

Therapy modes
The InterFlow™ blender is equiped with 3 Infant preset therapy modes. Each mode includes tailored parameter settings and alarms designed for specific patient sizes and therapy types.
Infant nCPAP - Pressure mode
Pressure control mode intended to deliver nCPAP (nasal Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) to infant patients via the nFlow™ nCPAP generator. Includes breaths per minute display.
Infant nCPAP - Flow mode
Flow control mode intended to deliver nCPAP (nasal Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) to infant patients via the nFlow™ nCPAP generator. Includes breaths per minute display.
Infant HFOT mode
Flow control mode intended to deliver HFOT (High Flow Oxygen Therapy) to infant patients via a High Flow nasal cannula.
Manual Flow mode
Adjustable flow mode intended to allow the user maximum control of supplied flows.
Monitoring display
The therapy parameters can be viewed numerically or graphically via the customisable real-time waveform display.

nFlow™ modular systems
The nFlow™ modular system further simplifies infant respiratory support with one heated wire breathing system that can be used for both nCPAP and High Flow therapy.
Transitioning between High Flow and nasal CPAP couldn’t be easier. With the multi-function InterFlow™ there is no need to change the equipment or breathing system, simply switch to the most appropriate therapy for each baby’s developing needs.
